Do you people know any good music in this style/genre?

Edit: Okay, now that I am done with that, are you just looking for some more good jazz period? Or more along the very specific lines of those songs? Because I can give you craploads of good jazz, but Diablo Swing Orchestra are the only guys I know that so brilliantly fuse Jazz and Metal/Rock whatever as they do. Though there is a... Swedish group I believe that calls itself Applekickerjazz (my spelling is probably off, it means stealing apples or something) that mixes big band jazz and hip-hop...

I don't like it at all personally, but I can appreciate it. If by that I mean what I think I mean.

I want to say absolutely YES!!! but then I realized I listen to significantly more Hot Jazz or Bebop then pure swing.

Check out Fletcher Henderson, Dexter Gordon, JJ Johnson, Gerry Mulligan, Artie Shaw, Count Basie.

OR look up Firecracker Jazz Band and/or Squirrel Nut Zippers. The former is a Dixieland revival band, and they are SO good.

And the latter is a Hot Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, blues, and swing hybrid.

Love this kind of music. Jazz, swing, most variations on it I love to death.

On a related note, anyone who says that people don't like [insert music genre] must "only listen to that [insert opposite genre]" are talking out of their ass. For example, I listen to jazz/swing, old and new. I also listen to thrash metal, old and new. And basically every other form of music (except pop and country). Some people need to open up.

Ah, not a lot can compare to Swing/Big Band, Royal Crown Revue are are great Jazz/Swing/Big Band-Revival group.

I've always wanted to be able to dance to this sort of music, perhaps I should take some lessons?

Dude, Big Band and Swing Jazz are some of the most badass genres out there. I love lounge music.
