I share a name with this guy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Skiba]. Same first, middle and last name even.

Edit: I was actually reading his wiki for once, and apparently both his father and my father are named Thomas. That's just fucking weird.

No... I don't have a common name and I'd probably only end up with my defunct and unused facebook page.

I was just wondering, my fellow Escapists, if you have ever taken the time to Google yourself. I did a little while ago to find numerous wedding registrations at various online stores. So I bought myself a toaster. Anyway, please share.
I have googled myself. Aside from a mountain of The Escapist and other online site pages I'm registered to, there was a touching story about my dead mother and a look-for page by the Estonian Armed Forces because I had supposedly failed to go to military school, despite the fact that I only went to school in Estonia for a year, WHEN I WAS TEN!

BTW please don't mention this to them. They'd probably come all the way to North America and drag me away.

My name is similar to the guy who voiced Illidan Stormrage from Warcraft ironic that i was thing about warcraft at that moment.
If only his name didn't end in King why can't it just be Matthew Yang (King)

No, but I will now.

I found my own account on the vlogbrothers' website and some facebook pages. Apparently nobody of any real importance shares my name.

edit-

Seven links down was this very account, on the Escapist. I found that cool.

Have you considered the possibility of being a Time Lord?

Yep, I found an actor who appeared in such blockbuster movies [sub]/sacracsm[/sub] as:
Zombie Ninja Gangbangers
Attack of the Virgin Mummies
and Cinematographor on The Origin or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the J.O.I.N.T.
I kid you not! He even has an IMDb page [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0551150/]

Oh, and there was also a former Prime Minister of New Zealand who's name is (mostly) the same as mine.

Is it a bad thing that when I first saw the title the first thing that came to mind was the totally inappropriate application of the phrase 'googled yourself'?

As for using the online site, I haven't done that yet. I'm going to have to see what comes up now as it could be interesting.

Goggled Real name: results included
University professor (there were two of these), jilted lesbian lover who set a car on fire, and a twitter page that related to a wedding planning business as well as cuisines and social network sites. This was just the first name and non of these were actually me.

Search user name: Me on Escapist and deviant art, a Goat canyon in Australia, and a monster on Aq-Wiki as well as links to spider-man pages.

There's an Italian woman with the same name as me, who puts an accent on the last E in our last name, and does clay sculptures of the female form. Chyeah.
