My thoughts on the grim reaper? Hes not doing his job right, fat/stupid people still exist, whatever hes getting paid with now is to much.

I think Grims a good guy. He kills everything and isn't afraid of anything.
Fixed that little spelling error for you ;)

OT: I think the grim reaper is just made up. And if he would exist, why would he use a Scythe of all weapons? They're really unpractical when it comes to killing. I'd rather use a hammer and just litteraly oblitirate their heads.

Used to be a symbol of fear, nowadays....He's a symbol of religon gone wrong. But since religon is being picked apart by people these day's it's hardly surprising. Not that I'm saying you should...

LOL- ninja'd, but in this case, I don't mind. Terry Prachett rocks!!

Topic wise- I think so a little. It kinda has the same place in my mind as aliens and Bigfoot.

Terry Pratchett fan here... you can not read Discworld without getting a soft spot for this wonderful anthropomorphic ideal. I actually feel sorry for him on many levels, never truly understanding humanity though he tries so very hard.

As an atheist, I'd have to say Death doesn't exist. As a fan of discworld and Conkers BFD I'd have to say... yes, he exists, and is all kinds of awesome. I've always wanted to dress up as the grim reaper while collecting for charity... where can I find a scythe...

I think it's a shame he never just stops by for a chat and a glass of wine (For those of you who would offer him a beer, forget it. He's obviously a wine person). I'm sure he'd have lots of insight into life and and what is behind the fabric of the universe and such.

He's Death. He does not kill, he simply is.

He also likes cats, has had an apprentice, rides a pale horse (skeleton horse didn't work all that well) named Binky and thinks humans are amazing creatures because "in a universe filled with wonders, they have managed to invent boredom"

Practhett did a really great job with the Grim Reaper. Including his social inability and the resulting bad blood between him and his granddaughter.

I dont think he is real, although it is possible. If I ever met the grim reaper, I would do what Rimmer did at the end of the final episode of Season 8 of Red Dwarf, kick him in the balls and run away

I think death is a primal force in the same way life is. A lump of cells that are still alive made to form a human body wouldnt make a real person. Life is a strange force and is hard to define. What makes something truly alive? I dont believe in some skeletal guy who runs around killing people but i think death is a force. On a lighter note he is pretty awsome. A hammer? Really? I think hed just look at you and you would be vaporised. Do you really wanna see the visage of death incarnate? I didnt think so.
