Poll: GTA 4 for $5, yes or no?

Just get Saints Row 2 or San Andreas. Trust me they are much more fun and keep with the spirit of the genre. (srry its not easily explained. watch the zero punctuation reviews for gta4 and saint row 2)

Honestly don't. Not because GTAIV is a bad game, I liked it quite a bit, and people who compare it to SR2 are kidding themselves(SR2 is not that good sorry).

However the PC port was butchered, it's not worth it, borrow/find a pre-owned console version. Also I'd suggest Episodes from Liberty City, they are arguably better than the game it's self.

I'm opting to wait for (and hope) SR2 comes up. I'm pretty sure it will and I rather play that one than GTA4

It's hard to go wrong on a game for $5. I payed $3.66 inc tx for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and while I think even $15 would be too much to pay for it I can't really complain for the price I got it at. You're paying a little more but you're also getting a much longer and better game. Just be prepared to be annoyed by all the little "missions" that you have to do to maintain your relationships. They can be a real grind but it's otherwise a really great game.

Note: If you've played a GTA, Bully or Red Dead redemption and dislike the mission structure then you should be aware that it is exactly the same here.

Yeah its worth it, assuming you can actually run it. It may be worth it even if you can't run it just incase you get a better computer that can.

I only say yes since you've never played a GTA before. Otehrwise I'd say no because part four was the worst in the series. I'd turn it down if it was offered to me for free.

Just play Saints Row and have fun.

It's worth it for 5 or 6 hours of straight story mode, and hours upon hours upon end of sandbox mode

Any game for fiver is good. I bought WET for a fiver. I've had more fun out of it than some of the blockbuster titles this year.

I bought it for $15 and regretted it. I just flat out didn't enjoy the game. But hey, you may, so go for it. For $5, its worth the risk I'd say.
