Regardless of your choice, your Take Two Interactive PC game is going to register on Steam. It boils down to whether or not you think the package is worth the trip to the store.
Why would you wish ill on franchise owners? I'm thinking you're taking your zealotry too far.Strelok said:Wait for a Steam sale, let Rock Star know that pre-orders and release day purchases happen when the game releases at the same time as all platforms not a year later. Also best to find out if Rock Star will blow it, since they are not so good with ports to PC, they will likely have some trouble with the "next gen" consoles as well.
If you are living in the past and simply need a physical copy, go to Amazon or something, as PC gamers we should be helping the Game Stops of the world shut down, not take a cut. You should only be buying Steam cards from Game Stop, they make 0 money off them and they make franchise owners sweat with fear and managers cry. Its really quite fun, also reject all their offers bonuses and to sign up for their ridiculous points cards, just ads to looks of anguish and fear.
LOL look everyone I don't like GTA5 aren't I hip by not being part of the crowd, really the huge amount of miss info in the post really only shows that you are standing against GTA5 not because of any real reason but because, well it's cool not to be part of a crowd.Neither honestly, GTA 4 port was terrible also I really feel like GTA V only got as much attention as it did due to its pedigree. Had it been released by someone other than rockstar with out the GTA label it would of not received the acclaim or sales it did. It just wasn't that impressive honestly. It ran like a turd on the last gen consoles and looks like one as well, the story was mediocre at best and the online features were far over hyped and unnecessary.
