Poll: Guns, are they good or bad?

I'll only give up my right to firepower when my military and police give up their guns. If the government is allowed to totally disarm civilians, then it would only be a matter of time before the government would slowly evolve into a tyrannical one.

I think that to an extent, guns are helpful, but only guns like hunting rifles. The way I see it, is if you want a gun for self defence, and guns were illegal, there would be signifigantly less of a reason to defend yourself.

*sighs* it seems like no one on this website knows the real reason the right to bear arms was put into the Bill of Rights in the first place.

I believe in the right to bear arms.

But then I also believe in capitol punishment.

Maybe that makes me wrong, but I don't own a gun. And because of that I've been shot at, and threatened with a gun on more than one occasion.

Perhaps there's a correlation there?

We are not allowed to have guns, exept with a permit (in a safe, with ammo and gun apart).

I know a lot of people who should NEVER be allowed to own a gun.

in my opinion - give me guns, and as many as i can carry - more! haha...but im incredibly opinionated and i love guns...
