Online, no, I don't play online. Offline, pretty much all the time. Sure, there's the "not wanting to stare at a man's derriere for the entire duration of their play-time" excuse, but there's also that they seem to bring me luck.
- My first run through Morrowind I played a female Redguard, naively believing that games like that (role playing, also my foray into that genre), every decision would matter somewhere down the line. In this case, it turned out a few points during the main mission, it did indeed matter (one Telvanni councilor would never elect a man Hortator, and crazy ol' Crassius Curio only asked to my lithe, supple Redguard body naked before electing me to... some position).
- Oblivion, playing that same Redguard didn't matter at all. Way to drop the ball, Bethesda!
- And, because only one game wouldn't be sufficient evidence of "luck", Mario Party 1-3 (haven't played any more recent than those) I have lost only once in Party Mode as Peach. That's once out of maybe more than 3 dozen games, and I don't merely win, I annihilate the competition. For such random gameplay, winning the way I do simply couldn't be skill alone, especially since I don't practice.
As for "why Peach", I believe Oblivion wasn't out yet, and my one game precedence (Morrowind) was all I needed to make that decision.
