This is the first Forum I've really invested a really large amount of time into. I've met a lot of good people here, and it really has helped me grow as a person. So what is this place to me? My home on the internet. And I like it that way.
A window into the rest of the world. I will go out on a limb and say that many Americans are not exposed to perspectives from people outside of our country, even our media which does dwelve into outside affairs is still mostly american based. The downside of having a media machine that is all encompassing as ours, it tends to block out others.
It is my only forum.
It is also 30% of my free time. A place where I can get really good advice should I desire. A place where I can make a thread about time travel or Vanilla Ice one day and one about hellish nightmares the other. But mostly a place where I can see you guys! I love you guys...

Feels like I'm outgrowing it. I get older and find I don't have all the time in the world for video games and such.
