Interesting results. Male voters mostly voted for it being too much of a hassle.
And it is. Too much of a hassle for me and I hate this social norm that forces me to do it. The amount of time and money I spent, and the amount of pain it caused, makes me wonder why am I putting up with it, but then I realize that I have enough body issues and don't need another one to be mocked about. And yeah, it does look nice. In my opinion, on men too.
However, I didn't vote, because in a way, I do it because I like it, but also because I am forced to. My biggest problem is the fact that I have a sensitive skin, and absolutely no method of shaving suits me. Nothing goes without irritating my skin to the point where my whole legs or armpits (or the bikini zone) hurts. I somehow deal with legs, but armpits and the bikini zone are a torture. Whatever I do, I just end up with an irritated skin that I have to scratch and that hurts and looks pretty much as horrible as hair. The only thing I haven't tried yet are LASERS and I'm on the brink of trying it, despite the enormous amounts of money I'd have to spend. But after that, the hair is gone forever!
I'd like if it would be socially acceptable for me not to do it when I don't feel like and for people not to mock other people if they want to keep their hair on various places (or remove it, in case of men who are called "sissies" or "pansies" if they do it).
