When i rented it, i loved my active camo. I probably have more assassinations/melee kills the i do headshots. And dont get me wrong, i dont camp.

I bait and switch :D you wouldent belive how many idiots run around the corner spraying, hoping for a lucky kill.

Armor Lock + Sticky grenade = A very cheap, but effective tactic.

Active camo failed me in this one map where this banshee was destroying our. I camoed and stood still, but the banshee locked onto me with that fuel rod cannon. I was very disappointed with the camo, and I don't plan on using it again.

Sprint or Active Camo are the ones i use. Both are great for getting up behind someone and performing an assassination kill. Hologram is pretty useful in a game of snipers and that's really only when i use it. The rest of them i just find kind of useless the Jetpack is fun yes, but most people only ever seem to use it for getting up high places in the map and camping (from what i have seen anyway) and the Armour Lock is just the most pathetic one out the lot of them. If someone uses armour lock i just run behind them and wait for it to stop then melee/assassinate, it's only ever useful if you're with a group.

I absolutely love tricking people with holograms. You'd be surprised how many people will shoot at one if it's standing still.
I played a match of Team Doubles today where all of us used holograms. It was pretty funny, and confusing
My favorite is Evade though, I can't even tell you how many kills I've gotten by rolling around someone who's firing at me and pulling off a fancy assassination, and it helps you move around faster too.

Hologram is so fun to use, I like to pretend I am the hologram sometimes.
I know exactly what you mean; I have an awesome video of me placing a hologram just out of cover and running through it in a perfectly straight line, then when two snipers are busy wailing at my apparently aiming form I manage to take one down and chip off the other's shield before dying
This is why I shoot the holograms every time just to be sure. In campain, bubble shield is the best for the previously mentioned reasons. In capture point games, active camo is fun and armour lock is a must have in slayer when you're with teammates.

Drop shield. When my buddies and I play Firefight, we have someone using it as a requirement. It's so much better to call someone over to heal you than to look for a medkit.

If we ever run into Lars Bakken in Firefight matchmaking, we will all use Drop Shields, because we know how much he needs them.

That said, they all have their own uses. I made up a fairly creative use for Armor Lock. When someone's charging you, throw a grenade at your feet, then lock your armor down. Enemy blows up in front of you, you take no damage.

Evade is useful in so many situations. It's a shame it isn't available in campaign.

Active Camo. Drop shield and armor lock are close, but not quite. Nothing's quite as satisfying as waiting for that perfect moment...Then the enemy comes around the corner, blissfully unaware of his jammed up radar. He walks right by you... STAB!!!

Armor lock is mainly only useful when you have allies around to back you up once you get ambushed, alone it's almost useless as all someone has to do is wait a few seconds before using grenades. That being said I actually had my greatest moment in Halo Reach using armor lock on the map reflections. Some noob was camping the elevator with the sword and active camo so I decided to head up with armor lock engaged, once he swung I pulled out causing the emp to take out his shields and knock him over the edge. I followed him over the edge and pummeled him in mid-air, I really wish I could have seen his face when his corpse hit the ground and I stole his sword. We still lost since one of our team members quit at the beginning but I'm still proud of that little moment.
I hope you used the assassinate if possible, that would of just been a bamf thing to do.

Personally I only played in the beta, but Active Cloaking and Evade/Sprint were my favorites in that.
For screwing about though, Armor Lock was fun. I loved hoping onto someones shoulders then activate it, it made the person below you dash forwards all of a sudden.
I could only hit him from the front and I didn't want to risk a longer fight at close range when he had the sword so I couldn't assassinate him. Still beating someone wielding a sword to death WHILE falling down an elevator shaft is pretty awesome.

Drop Shield for Campaign, Hologram for multiplayer. Can't quite beat the feeling of someone following a hologram and administering a sneaky beatdown.

Love me some active camo. It's so fucking annoying, which is my primary goal when playing.
Alot of people underestimate just how much it's radar jamming ability can mess with a team. I love to use it just help out the rest of my team by messing with the enemy radar. Nothing sucks more than being in a team vs team shootout and having your radar go nuts.
I wasn't even thinking of that, I was talking about hiding round a corner with a gravity hammer. My favourite thing to do though is to cloak crouch in the water in the middle of Swordbase with the shotgun. You're literally invisible.

Sprint: it is the only thing worth it, being able to get out of a trouble area, or to team mates in trouble. The Jet pack is fine on some maps but others it is worthless because of ceilings.

i chose the armor lock since i mostloy play the campaign and i use it againstvehicles and such
it also saves me from sticks if your fast on the button and makes you able to turn enemy explosives against them
and the emp blast at the end is quite usefull

hm...it's between armor lock and jet pack. armor lock is very useful in a huge firefight, because if you're about to die, just armor lock and a buddy can come pick the guy off. destroying people trying to splatter you is plain awesome, and when that emp blast that wipes out their shields? awesome. i like jet pack because it really helps with versatility, and helps you get to people faster.

Armor lock, by far.

So many people dont get that when your character pops out, he faces the way your camera was looking. People try to assassinate you, just beat em down when you pop out.

The defensive capabilities just help me, I play aggressive (often getting the kills at my own expense), so it helps me be defensive.

Also, Stick, Armor Lock. Yeah, its sexy.

Or, get stuck, Armor Lock. Its nice.

Drop shield is great in campaign, but in multi-player I LOVE the hologram. Not only does it provide a false hit on the radar but it confuses the fvck out of most players.
