sprint...it offers the ability to catch up which in most objective based game types is very important. But it really depends on how fast it is and if you can use weapons while using it. I would like to sprint to catch up to an escaping warthog, or at least try to cut it off and then stick it with a grenade.

In ts maybe something different.
I know...it's about time Halo had a sprint function, both sprint and evade would be good defensively and offensively on a close quarters scale. I think the jet pack is for those who want to get to the good sniping positions and rain down terror for above. It will probably make traversing large maps a lot easier too.
It really depends on how the maps are set up. It would be fun to have a jetpack and just fly around looking for other people on their hiding spots and assassinating them. Everything seems to have its use as an offensive and defensive tool. I am interested to see how the balancing ends up getting done, I think it will depends on the ease of use.

Not just ease of use, but user feedback and stats. Im sure Bungie will be tracking each and every move we make, looking at the leaderboards, and listening to user feedback. That's why I like Bungie as a company.

It's like MW2, you chose your load-out each time you spawn, the load-out's consist of spawn weapons and one armour ability (all listed in the poll).
Finally, I much prefer this style than the "camp the rocket launcher" style of play. If thats the case I might check this out. I only put in about two hours on Halo 3 MP, prefering the COD4 system.

I like getting stuck in from spawn rather than being forced to go off hunting down a reasonable weapon.

Is Armour Lock like a form of self-destruct or something?
It's not like that, that reminds me of one of Shinobi's special moves.

Armour Lock means you are invincible for a short while, you are immobilised while it's active, and if you hold it down for long enough, once you get up you'll release an EMP blast damaging any enemy/vehicle shields that are in close proximity to you.

Armour lock, likely.

Probably starting off 'packing more, but Lock is a lot better to be playstyle. (Aka...Die a lot. XD)

Jetpacks. Mobility is everything in Halo.

Active Camo is a close second. Especially with the scrambler effect it has tacked on.

Active camo, but not the crap that wears off when you take a shot. More like what the covenant have where they can stay invisible. It would suit my style of playing as I like to play the role of a sniper who eliminates a threat before the battle begins.

Im thinking sprint, i watched somthing on it and they said the jetback is going to be hard to control and you cant evade well with it IE neediler up the ass.

Active Camo seems to attract me the most. The ability to become invisible when I want to and not be seen on radar when using it gives it a tactical advantage. If I had a second choice, I'd choose the Jet Pack due to its aerial advantage and ability to finish up jumps that I tend to fail.

Armor Lock: In halo 3 I was killed many times by warthog drivers, now its time to get revenge.
Also the emp blast looks awesome

Also, its not as powerful and game breaking as people may first think.
1 you cant move or shoot while using it.
2 you are vunreble as soon as you exit
3 the recharge seems (from what iv seen from the beta) to be longer than most of the Armor abilitys.

I would only use it on vehicle maps though because of the vehicle destroying only. other than that I would probably use the jetpack.

I will be using the armor lock loadout plenty I am sure. I can't tell you how many times I saw my death flying at me or the laser pointer on me and really wishing I had something like armor lock. So that will be a big use to me.

Evade/roll and sprint. I'm the kind of guy that likes to take point on tactical games, and rush in and out during heavy shoot-em-ups. Being able to evade to cover or rush in and rush out when necessary would be a great advantage to my play style.
