Leeds is a good choice, I moved there for uni. It's still nothing compared to the great bastion of modern civilization that is Barnsley though.

Leeds is the greatest city on earth.

Sheffield's my adopted home, and I love Yorkshire generally. Beats the crap out of Essex, I can say that.

Also Sheffield > London.

¬_¬ I'm living in East Yorkshire at the minute, ya cheeky sod. It's much better than my home town. Then again, a skip is better than my home town.
My favourite is West Yorkshire, loads of awesome people come from there. (Patrick Stewart, Ade Edmunson, Malcolm McDowell...)

I suppose we should spend the day uniting against Lancashire, even if Hull is an absolute dive (unless you're into underage alcoholism, I imagine it's great then). Also there is Scunthorpe. And you can't say Scunthorpe without saying...
