I'm content to leave insects alone until they start annoying me. Then they die.

Fancier life forms like dogs, cats, frogs, and women either get smacked or something thrown at it.

Generally live and let live, this is especially true of spiders because they're pretty good for eating more annoying beasties.

Only flies and spiders.

Because Flies are fucking annoying and I'm afraid of spiders.

Yes, because if I never swatted at it, I'd wake up one day with maggots in my eye.

My general rule is that if it annoys me, it must die.

Bugs annoy me, therefore, they must die.

That's like saying you're scared of all fish except dolphins.

Personally, I obliterate the annoying flies, but part of why they're annoying is that they're disease-carriers.

Carpet- and clothes-eating moths? *BOOM* Thumbshot! Dirty flies? *WHACK* Airstrike! Well, rolled newspaper in my fist, not bombs from an aircraft, but the effect's kind of similar.

Spiders, pretty non-clothes-munching moths, butterflies, hoverflies, honeybees, bumblebees and ... erm ... lacewings and ladybirds ... get to live their lives free and generally outdoors. Greenfly don't come in here much. They all hang around outside on my fruit vines, honeysuckle and roses. When I'm removing orb-weaver spiders from the house or other unsafe locations, I tend to put them on the roses.

Mosquitoes? Hand, paper, shoe, towel, bullwhip, whatever, they die.

Bullwhipping mosquitoes: really effective if you're a VERY good shot.

Depends.

Flies I usually try to shoo outside, but if I'm feeling lazy I'll just ignore them.
Spiders and moths I like, so I leave them.
Cockroaches I greatly dislike, but I'll generally ignore them unless there's one in my room. Then it dies. I feel guilty afterwards but I just can't stand the horrible noise they make when they move.
Mosquitos I tend to kill, but it depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes I leave them.

I usually catch them and throw them out the window. Not so much because I think killing them would be wrong, more because it's always such a mess to squish them.

If it's a fly I normally just wave it away. If it doesn't leave, I'll kill it.

Most of the time I won't actually care. If there happens to be a spider near by, I will put the bug on the web for my own sick and twisted amusement.

I ain't inclined to squish such dudes off the bat. They have to be really, really persistent. I try to convince them to go in a different room, or I catch them and put them somewhere else, but after that doesn't work I figure they're just out to piss me off so I kill them. WHY MUST YOU ANTAGONISE ME WHEN I AM THIS BIG AND YOU ARE THAT BIG

Let them live as long as they are not in my bedroom, if they are I know I'm going to wake up because of them flying around my head.

If its a bug in my house it dies
but if it's a spider, it lives or dies depending on how many insects are in the room. The more insects the more chance the spider has to live. I will then command it to eat every other insect.

I dont squish bugs because

2 when I try to squish them theyre already gone!

That's true, I did not think about that, I was tired, but when I see any arachnid, or insect, I don't think, that's a scorpion, technically not an insect, I'm fine, my irrational fear causes me to go into kill or run away mode. And If someone where afraid of fish, I guess dolphins and whales would seem like the devil's work. Sorry for the tyrade.
