The ending of Knights of the Old Republic 1 didn't make me cry, but it definately made me sad for the rest of the week.

Well, I haven't really cried over a game but I have been very close, the one that touched me the strongest was the ending of Shadow of the Colossus. I guess I don't get that immersed in games though I always enjoy a good story and storytelling.

Ya when I saw whats her name die in FF7 it just made me glad I chose Tifa. Probably because I didn't take the story line at all seriously and just screwed around. Oh and when you give the character restarted yet strangely hilarious name when you read the dialog it make it hard to take it seriously.

For me, the ending of Suikoden did it. I'm a sucker for music, and at the time I'd never played anything like Suikoden, so the combination of the truly epic end theme (especially when I realised the choir was singing 'Sayonara') combined with the little run-downs of what happened to each of the 108 stars- got me square in the emotional solar plexus. Then the Vandal Hearts ending did it again. Konami seem to be good at this sort of thing.

And to whoever mentioned it, yep, Valkyria Chronicle has quite a few moments that may well get you.

I nearly shed a tear at the end boss fight of MGS4 when beating the crap into liquid with the music in the background, i do give in to epicness. But in the end i just smiled gracefully.

I didn't cry but came close but at the end of kingdom hearts 2 I just felt really upset I don't even know why the ending isn't even sad.

The end of Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and the part of Bioshock with the little sisters (I had been harvesting them the whole time) both got me to cry.

Oh yeah. Too many to name. First game that ever made me cry (one of my first games, generally) was FFVII when Aeris died. Cried for weeks. I had a love-hate relationship with that scene, though - I was confused. Sephi was burned into my mind as an immense bad-ass for killing her, but the death was so sad. :(

Crying from frustration... umm... well, I've been ganged up on by guys after they found out that I'm a female playing a FPS. Groups and hordes of guys degrading me for being female. I've only been so frustrated that I cried from them once in my life. After they burned me, I grew some balls and started talking back. The fun part about guys, they either hate you or love you for being female. I don't mean to rant - it is what it is. :)

Otherwise... Lost Odyssey was a close-call (almost cried). Most other Final Fantasy games or RPG's, generally. That's all that sticks out.
