Mainly because the storyline the setting and the music in a FF game brings out so much emotion its great to see a game like this, Aeris death was a upsetting part of the game mainly because of the love between her and cloud not like i really want to go into this one lol.
well fallout 3 nearly brought me to tears when my father died and when i was kicked out of the vault. maybe it was because i was so drawn into to the game i started making emotional bonds with some of the characters, i have to keep loading back almost 15 mintues when ever my beloved dogmeat dies.
other then that or maybe half life 2 and its epiodes i have never cryed because of a game.
Really? I got frustrated with the linear restrictions in the game at that point. Sure it was a plot point but it doesn't even give you the option to try to save him.
