So I just got back from a live concert in Buffalo for my favorite band: The Moody Blues (It was pure AWESOME!). I was just wondering if anyone else here on the Escapist has heard of them, and if so, what your favorite song by them is.

Edit: Forgot to mention, my favorite song by them is "Your Wildest Dreams" with "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" coming in close second.

I've heard of them. An early British progrock band if I'm not mistaken, inspired a bunch of other bands, though I don't really know much about them.

Timothy Leary's dead. Nobody knows he's outside, looking in. Timothy Leary's dead. He'll fly his astral plane, takes you trips around the bay, brings you back the same day. Timothy Leary.

That answers your question, I think. :p I freaking LOVE the Moody Blues. Very relaxing and very hauntingly cool. They are one of my all time favourites, and "In search of the lost Chord" is one of my top 10 albums of all time.

I must admit, I've only ever heard one of their songs, "Go Now" (by extension my favourite song) which is funny, because I actually really love that song. I didn't even know they were still active, so I never bothered to check.

In light of the new evidence contrary to what I believed, I feel inclined to do a little more research...
