For me Final Fantasy 13 has been the first edition to the series i've been able to play and truely enjoy since 8 (9 being alright) so i'd say keep them coming as I feel personally they are just starting to get great again.
I will agree with the general consensus that many people are just blinded by nostalgia when refering to the older editions.
