Poll: Has Naruto gone too far now?

i don't care if people think it's lame.
i enjoy it.
i also enjoy bleach, outlaw star and black blood brothers.

the only problem i have with naruto is i feel it has a DBZ complex. it wants to DRAGGGGG some things out (like fights).

Naruto is... still pretty good, as long as it isn't fillery. Well, actually, some of the recent fillers have been decent too, but whatever.

I only read the manga now. And I did cringe a bit when Pain did what he did at the end of his arc. But I still rather like it, although I think they should end it soon because to continue would mean new characters or one hell of an ass-pull

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan, but what the series needs is a reasonable ending and soon. it needs a tidy wrap up with all events coming full circle or else the series just won't be satisfying enough.

The Shippuden storyline follows a few distinct themes (nukes are bad...ex: the super jinchuuriki death weapon, revenge, tragedy...etc.etc...) and has been sticking with those themes as far as I can see. If you get pissed off when an anime/tv show/movie/etc. tries to illustrate points reflecting the moral views of the author/artist, then you probably shouldn't be watching/reading Naruto in the first place.

Naruto sucks and has always sucked. Read One Piece instead. More content, more humor, less crying; problem solved.

As soon as it hit the 'Above-52-episode' mark, I lost interest straight away.
If it aint 26 eps, Im not interested.
The reason why I said 52, was because the only excpetion to this rule I have is Full Metal Alchemist.

I always really liked Naruto. I think it does the Shounen actions thing better than the majority of manga around now, and the plot is actually very good (as these things go). That siad I've never had any contact with the "Narutard" fans of the manga/anime. maybe the "too popular argument will sound more justified if I do meet these people.

Of course while I doubt it will change your mind on the show if didn't like it, but it should be seen in the orignal japanese with english subtitles rather than the english dub. Your ears will be thankful.

EDIT:

Never read the manges, but the anime is all filler, in one episode Naruto jumps across a room a kicks one guy, the rest of the episode was entirely filler.

The manga has none of the filler stuff, but if you don't like it, you don't like it.

I don't really understand how anyone can keep watching it, it's so repetitive and fight scenes take dozens of episodes to get resolved with insane amounts of inane chatter. Also, although I only watch half an episode of it translated into English before my ears bled the translation is horrible and the voice actors super-annoying.

P.S. In the original Japanese Naruto talks in an annoying way that includes a lot of extra words (quite frequently ending sentences with dattabayo is one example, which is kinda like saying "and that's how it is"). For some reason the translators have decided to replace every single sentence extension with "believe it". Which not only makes no sense but is so annoying that it makes watching the show (for me at least) completely impossible.
