With Fox either people know they are full of shit or they are so absorbed with what Fox is saying it doesn't matter. If Glenn Beck started drawing lines connecting Obama and Hitler people would start actually believing that Obama wanted to commit genocide in the US.
Oh wait that already happend.

No, they burn down your house and leave their house standing! The people who work at FOX don't honestly believe their stories.......or at least i hope they don't

oh I wish. But judging by the fact that the audience that typically watches fox BELIEVES what they SAY, nothing will really come of it.

Hopefully EA, epic and people can fly will stand up for there product and put facts out there.

With the whole Bulletstorm makes rapists bullshit that Fox News have put out have they essentially ruined themselves. With the entire article people have discovered errors, inconsistencies and even selective quoting proving they make their own news and if Fox'll lie about a game how much else is shit.
My view is that, like they said, they believed games to by just for kids and didn't realise games have actually grown and become a medium for any age, I qoute another article that says the average gamer is 20-30 and a lot more vocal than Fox realised.
So what do you all think, is this another nail in the coffin or will it blow over onto the next piece of crap story?
1. The next time you make a rant thread please check your grammar and spelling.

2. I really think this whole "ZOMG FOX NEWZ THINKS BULLETSTORM MAKES PEOPLE INTO RAPISTS" thing has been blown way out of proportion among the Escapist and gaming community in general. Gamers think that since one contributor on one news network said something ludicrous about gaming, that network will lose all credibility, fold in on itself and cease to exist. News flash people, the world is BIGGER then just us and it's bigger than just GAMING. 90% of the non-gaming public who saw that report could care less as to whether it was accurate and have probably forgotten about it by now or its just melded with their whole "video games are bad" stereotyping that they've already had to begin with. News networks make mistakes ALL THE TIME. If a network lost all credibility the moment they put out a ridiculous story not only would Fox News no longer exist, but there would also be no CNN, MSNBC, etc, because they're all just as guilty of releasing falsified stories as a result of poor reporting, right or left-wing bias, or whatever, so RELAX gamers, it's not all about us.

Oh my god.

People still take cable news of ANY kind seriously? O_O That's news to me!

Jokes aside...

I treat fox news the same way i treat any news or, slightly more relateably, the weatherman: i trust them on a 'trust but verify' basis. In other words, if they say something particularly surprising, personal and/or jarring, i look into it on my own, see if it's true. If i find nothing contradicting it, i assume it's true.

And TBPH, this video game thing isn't even surprising enough for me to look into Bulletstorm. I've heard enough to know i won't care about it.
