I recently had an Ebay massacre.

So it's only 15-20 physical games per platform. On the other hand, the massacre left me nearly a thousand quid up, that was nice.

I did used to hoard games, mainly on the 'I might want ot play it later' justification. Then I realised I had hundred of titles I played end to end once, put down and never went near again, I've only kept the truly special ones, although now I am seriously thinking about buing back a bunch of the games I got rid of, such the MGS and Metroid Prime series, in fact exclusively those two.

I guess between old PS2, Xbox and PC discs, Wii games and everything I've got on Steam, a fair amount. I am very obsessive and selective, though, and can make one beloved game last many, many years, and am also a big fan of going over to people's houses and playing all their games, so I probably don't have as many games as would be expected of me.

Shamingly, Sims 1, 2 and now 3 discs are a huge contributor to my collection...

Recently so many awesome games have been coming out (RDR, Splinter Cell: Conviction, SMG2 etc) that I've not been able to afford them all so I've been trading in loads of older games. My PS3 game collection has gone down from like 20 to about 9 and my 360 collection has gone down from 30ish to 17

In the last generation I had about 80 PS2 games. Over the years I've sold loads and now have 38

my PS3 games count is currently on 24 releases (25 when I'll get my Red Dead Redemption soon), so I voted 20-29. I have much more PC games, but I'm too lazy to count them right now :p

I always regret trading in games eventually, but then I forget my regret and end up with no games for my old systems.

I know what you mean. Individually, the games aren't worth that much, but I'm always surprised at the small fortune in solid assets I take for granted every day in my games collection.

Can't recall the correct number in my head but I think it goes something like this:

43 ps2
26 360
12 gamecube
20 ps1
30 pc
9 ds
12 n64
20 megadrive
15 gba
10 Original gameboy

I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to everything. It would also be a pain if I traded them in to get them back again in the same condition.

I have 300+ individual games (and yes, hard copies, and not pirated games). I just have them all from over the years of playing them, people buying them for me as gifts, and so on. I just don't want to sell them, because I'd make little to no profit, so I just have them now.

Mine came to 68. I only occasionally sell my games because you usually get crap deals on them. The only time I had a mass clear out was when my PSP was stolen and I sold all my games because I didn't feel like replacing it. They're also a few of games I have lost or are boxed away somewhere.

I like to hoard games. The other day I had the random urge to play Planescape Torment and hey i've got it! Sim City? Yeah! What about Transport Giant or Battlefield 2142? Two Worlds, Dragon Age and almost every decent RPG game ever. Even some bad games, like Empire: Dawn of the Modern World, which I will -never- play again are in my collection purely because I like to have things.

I counted my discs the other day and it came to well over 200. But when you consider plenty of games come on 2 discs or more (I've one on 8!) My actual game number is likely around 100.

I have about six for the PC (don't own any consoles). My earliest one, C&C, the original one, still have that in its case. Also have some others, MOH: AA, Starcraft, Diablo I and II - LoD. And Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield. And Call of Duty. Ever since then, all my games have been digital downloads, such as from Steam, or MMOs, also downloads. I absolutely hate having things lying around with no purpose.

For my PC I currently have 149 games in total (102 on steam, 47 on disc).

I don't know how many but last gen is an even split between Gamecube and PS2, while this gen is dominated by PS3 releases and only about 10 games for Xbox 360.

I only have six, seven if you include DA:O Awakenings but that's cheating. I'd have about 12 if I didn't trade the crappy games to gamestop. Oh and for some reason I got rid of all my PS2 stuff. Still kicking myself in the head for that :(

I have so many games because I used to collect them when I had spare cash. I grew up poor, as in dirt poor, so I used games to escape from reality for a while. (Aww... *violins*)

I own around 80+ Xbox 360 disks - not really much to add to the discussion bar the fact I complete games quickly, and only play RPG's for long periods of time.
