Yep, done it a lot before, realized that I was walking the path to become an alcoholic and got my act together, even if it just was for a while, as I still drink occasionally for personal reasons. I still see drinking my sorrows away as something weak to do though. =/ Guess I'm just a weak person...

Oh, and I rarely drink at social events because of this. If I do drink at a party or something I always make sure that it's not something strong, and stop early. I like to be in full control of my own actions if there's people around. (Though this has failed once or twice, and thus reinforced my feeling of needing to do this later on)

No. Mostly because I'm underage. However, where I'm living that doesn't count for much. Just not my thing. I just struggle through my life when there is an impasse, but I always make sure that I'm not alone.

I feel like an "Above the Influence" commercial...ugh...

Once, after a nasty bit of heartbreak (and an emotional meltdown at school). It ended okay, but only because my friends were around. With just the alcohol it would've probably ended with me puking and/or passing out.

It's just not worth the bother. Nowadays, if I consume alcohol it's to have fun, not cry in a corner of someone's apartment.

I've gone looking for answers at the bottom of a bottle quite a few times. Never found any though.

No, but I do go bar hopping when I'm depressed. I don't go to get drunk, mind you, I just like bars for the social experience. it's just nice to go somewhere where everyone knows your name and is genuinely happy to see you. really cheers me up.
