Not really by either sex. I think it might have to do with the fact that I'm an anti-social jerk who could stand to drop more than a few pounds and who tends to be completely oblivious to flirting.

In the interest of being a nice guy I do have a question for my gay gamer brethren here though: If you showed interest in a guy would you feel worse if he were straight or worse if he just turned you down without citing that as the reason?

It's worse if he didn't give a reason, I reckon. Because then he might be gay, but just thinks I'm unattractive. If he's straight, I might be disappointed, but I couldn't really feel take it personally, could I?

That said, I don't think I would ever ask out or flirt with a guy who I wasn't certain was gay or bisexual. The embarrassment would be just too high.
