Annoyingly yes. Not that I have anything against homosexuals, but they seem to like hitting on me when I'm single whereas I've only been hit on by the opposite sex when I'm in a committed relationship. It's Sod's Law but it's flattering, if a little awkward. Sober me isn't great at breaking it to them, drunk me is much more likely to take it well and laugh it off

NO that I know of. But seeing that I've been known to been talking with females that I'm interested in and they're being actively hitting on me without me realizing (several missed opportunites there, and I'm still single *sigh*), it might have happened several times that some one is flirting with me without realizing. Even worse with males, as I'm not interested nor looking for the signs that they are doing it. I think that unless someone violeted my personal space I wouldn't know in a thousand years. I also do not notice when guys check me, as I only look for girls doing it (at least I've become better at noticing that). So, really it shouold be a no idea.

Yup. By trannies as well.

I just told him/her/it that I was straight. The person apologized and we parted ways.

Had some gay friends who drunkenly said they wished I was gay too. A bisexual guy said he'd love to lose his man-ginity(couldn't think of a better word) to me and I'm fairly sure a guy who bought me a beer once was hitting on me, but I was way too drunk to catch on.

So yeah, it happens. Doesn't matter to me, but if it's people I'm not familiar with I explain that I'm not remotely intrested in other penises than my own. If they went further and started grabbing and shit I'd most probably get aggressive and/or throw a punch. Has never happend though.

I have been on both ends.
Both being too tired, drunk off and/or alcohol of the atmosphere, and uncaring to notice and/or care about.
The time I had been, he was drunk out of his head and tripped on the way out.

I felt really bad, though. He genuinely thought I was catching on.

The time I hit on a friend was a painfully drunken night and I couldn't tell who they were (made even dumber by the fact that it was their birthday). I'm normally quite tame when I'm drunk, but, that night...

The closest thing I can think of is this one time I was walking in a group, and this gay guy came up behind me and put his arm around me... because his boyfriend was also in the group, roughly the same height and hair color as me, and wearing an almost identical dress shirt. He had a 50/50 chance, and got it wrong XD

Not sure! I've been hit on by a trans person though. The trans person identified as female... not sure if that would count.

It was in my 10th grade P.E. class. P.E. classes are usually separated via gender. The trans person in question, as you can imagine, was not treated to kindly in an all male, American, P.E. class. So I usually hung out with her because I didn't like how much bullying she got. She ended up hitting on me; I turned her down. It was only awkward for a few minutes, I changed the subject and everything was dandy.

Yup i have.

Happened a fair amount especially when i was in Aberystwyth, getting my ass pinched randomly and stuff.

I know some peeps react hostile to it, but ive been used to people (of both genders) grabbing my ass since my teenage years, clearly i have a popular posterior despite all logical reasoning as my bodytype isnt really that of a toned hunk.

Yeah, though it never bothered me. In fact I was a bit flattered. When my old death metal band was playing with another band, their guitarist was hitting on me. It took me a little bit to catch on that he was doing so. I finally let him know that I was straight and that I wasn't interested in that, but I would love to play more shows with his band. They were all very cool.

Jeah happened. We were both a lil tipsy and he started to flirt, he excused himself the next time multiple times - it was actually cute :)

If I did, I honestly wouldn't know.
I'm so romantically dense that I probably wouldn't know it unless they directly told me they were interested in me to my face.

I've been part of both worlds, and I've been hit on by both sexes AS both sexes. It's weird because honestly I don't think I'm all that attractive.

Yeah, I'm pretty ignorant in this area myself. As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure what it's supposed to sound like when you flirt with someone. Guess I'm a bit behind in that regard (though to be fair, it's not legal for me to date anyone who I get along with, which is to say people who aren't teenagers; and teenagers suck. Fuck high school.)

Hopefully in the next year or 4 I'll figure that bit out.

Yep. Didn't realise it until someone pointed it out, because I don't expect anyone to do that, ever.
Can't say it bothered me though.

Multiple times, very directly as well. I was once even offered a fair deal of money for some guy I didn't know to perform fellatio on me. I was flattered, but obviously I shot that idea down faster then Wild Bill.

It's possible but I don't think so and I'm not narcissistic enough to think everyone talking to me or everyone that smiles at me is hitting on me.
