Totally have. When I lived in LA, I'd often go out with my gay friend in West Hollywood. After a while, I learned that I could drink for free if I just played along. I saved tons of money not buying my own drinks, and all I had to do was flirt a little and be hit on.

I was hit on by another guy on an online dating site. It was strange situation to me considering my profile would've obviously blatantly stated that I'm heterosexual. He said I was cute and it genuinely made me feel good, but I just told him I'm straight and that was the end of that.

three times personally, one was my best friend in high school, i was the first person he ever told he was gay. the second was a friend of a friend who i had partied with a few times, i guess he developed a bit of a crush on me.... sadly he hasn't quite given up on it either, it makes drinking around him quite uncomfortable. and the third was another guy i met through table top gaming, THAT one was right out of left field, i would of never thought of him as gay, not because he's very "Manly", which he is, but because he's super Right Wing, though for me this was the best experience because when i told him i wasn't interested he didn't take it personally, though he still tells me about his Furry gatherings *slight shudder*.

Yeah. I met a girl in a club towards the end of the night, but because we just met we decided to stay out some more. The only place that was still open was a gay bar so we went in there.

One guy said I was a bear(?) and that he'd love for me to go come back to his place, another guy just sort of fondled me.

Turned them both down because I'm not really into that, but I didn't really have a problem with it. I was kind of flattered to be honest, and to be fair I was in a gay bar.

Yep.

The one that sticks with me the most is when I was like 16 at a party where I knew no one (this was when we had a very hot history teacher and my friends in a higher grade were... well, I think now at least one of them was sleeping with him, we went to his place) and I was sitting on the couch being my socially awkward self back then when a couple of women sat down on either side of me.

They were quite nice and understanding and gentle as they realised I was so socially awkward, but then one put her hand on my knee and said I was quite pretty and asked if I wanted to go home with them.

I just kinda stammered and said I was there with someone else. They were understanding and nice about it, but it was very confusing for me as I'd rarely ever been hit on. Quite flattering, though. And maybe if it happened now I'd go for it, even though I am generally straight.

Yup, twice. Both times in a, "So you wanna fuck?" kind of way. I think I took the second time in relative stride, but the first one?

I was 16-17 years old and living in a youth home at the time. I'd lived there as the only girl with three other guys - all a year or two older than me - and I really liked it there. Then one of the guys moved out and on and a girl took his place. She would lay on the sofa in the living room like a beached whale, guzzling down 2 litre bottles of soda and going through several bags of chips in a rather revolting fashion. I had to steel myself to sit and watch TV with her for not only did she make disgusting noises as she ate, her personality left a lot to be desired. Then one day soon after she moved in she started asking really personal questions, like if I had a boyfriend or girlfriend, if I was a virgin and then suddenly: "do you wanna fuck?" What she actually said in Swedish is, "Vill du ha KK?" KK stands for Kompis Knull meaning basically a Fuck between Friends. (We were NOT friends.)

I flew out of the chair I was sitting in, saying what amounted to a hysterical nononononononono I'm not gay nonononononononooooooooooooo. So I didn't take that well at all. I practically had to stop watching TV after that as she had claimed the living room as her own and I didn't want to be around her.

The irony that it took one girl to move in for me to feel sexually harassed. Kudos to her though, she never brought it up again.

Yes and it was very awkward (all 5 times). But getting complements about my appearence (I have a gay friend who said I look very handsome once when myself and others were trying to figure out why we couldn't find girlfriends)... I'll take it from anyone.

First time I ever went to a club I was hit on by a girl. She was stoned out of her mind and she stood right in front of me and said 'oh my god you are so hot can I motorboat you?'. I kid you not. I just pretended I couldn't hear her and she stumbled off after some friends. Needless to say I haven't been back to that club since, apparently that sort of encounter isn't that rare there.

Yep. I find it obnoxious when they know which way I swing though. I have a lesbian friend and she would punch my lights out if I tried macking on her.

Well uh, quite a bit by my friends joking around but I assume you mean seriously? Can't say that I have. Not to any noticeable extreme anyways. I've had gay people talk to me but never proposition me, maybe they would have worked their way around to it if I gave off the impression that I was gay. Then again when I was going to bars and clubs a lot it wasn't long before I was working on getting a lady home so from the perspective of a gay man on the prowl for gay men that would probably strike me off their potential list.

Nope. I don't hang around in gaybars and I think most gay men probably check that the person they want to hit on isn't straight.

Which I am.

Though if a guy did hit on me I'd probably just think they were fooling around.

If trans do not count as the same sex then: yes, I have been.

If trans DO count as the same sex then: YES, I most CERTAINLY have been.

I've never been hit on, I've rarely been complimented either. Unless I kind of force the person into the situation, by like showing them a picture or something and then they have to say SOMETHING.

3 times that I can recall though I am apparently pretty oblivious to people hitting on me. Personally I think others juts read to much into things.
2 I declined as politely as I could, the 3rd I told to fuck off but that was because she grabbed my ass.

I find being hit on awkward, guy or girl. I don?t find it anymore awkward being hit on by another girl than a guy. If anything it?s less so because I can at least tell them I?m hetro and leave it at that.
