No, but given how my dad drives, I wouldn't be surprised to be in one soon. Seriously, he's usually a good driver but sometimes he's stupid. We used to occasionally go to Fairbourne in Wales (near Barmouth) on daytrips, sometimes take the dog with us so he could run on the beach. It was convenient because I already knew the area (my old school has a residential centre in a converted coachhouse at Farchynys, across the estuary of the River Mawddach), and a friend of ours has a holiday home there so we'd visited him there a few times.
Anyway, the journey from the Midlands to the Welsh coast means going through Welshpool then over the mountain passes west. There's one point that I remember distinctly on the route, where the road (already narrow with a steep drop on one side) curves sharply to the left, away from the drop, and across a bridge over the railway line. Then very sharply curves back right again. Very small area, and my dad always insists on taking it at speed. We've never had an accident so far, but I always imagine us skidding or the brakes going and us crashing down the slope or onto the train tracks...
