It was drag thursday, and me having a feminine body... I was confusing the boys all day that day. I got a really good blonde wig, some extremely tight jeans that I had to sag, and a tight t-shirt with something whore-ish on the front... only until I actually spoke or took off the wig did anyone realize I wasn't a woman.

Nope, been mistaken for a highschool freshman (I'm a college sophomore) but never the opposite gender.

When one of my best friends saw me for the very first time (NOTE: from a distance), she couldn't tell if I was male or female.
Until she noticed the boobs.

Feminine or androgynous?

Narrow shoulders without large hips is more androgynous than feminine. Children of both sexes usually have that kind of build, because they don't have as much sexual dimorphism yet. Men with actual feminine body proportions (hips bigger than their shoulders) are pretty darn rare. I know it's a bit nitpicky to make that distinction.

Not to my knowledge. I'm quite slim for a man, but I keep my hair short because it looks ugly long. I also have a pretty masculine facial structure. Fear my bulging eyebrow ridge

I've been mistaken for a girl a few time, back when I was 13-14 ish and had hair down to my waist...

But after I turned around and people saw my beard and whatnot they realised their mistake.

Uh. I've been mistaken for "it" once, although I think that was on purpose.
Never for the opposite gender, though.

Several times, I worked in a super market and have long hair. Since male and female uniforms are the same it's a fairly easy mistake to make at a glance, I always took it as a compliment it means I'm sexy fine, and also should never commit crimes.

I always had a really high voice as a kid, so on the phone i was often mistaken for a girl.
(thank god that my voice stated to change when i was eleven)

Lots of times... on the internet. I like being a bit androgynous on social sites because then you don't get icky messages from creeps wanting to sext or get you to post your boobs. I don't need that.
I've been using pictures of Dr. Franken Stein for avatars for years, and if someone asks for a photo I just post myself in my Franken Stein cosplay outfit because I'm a smart-ass like that. Haha.

The internet gives a perfect opportunity to be judged by your words and thoughts alone. Why waste it posting a dozen shots of yourself duckfacing' on Facebook? Letting people wonder is much more satisfying.

Never, in spite of having hair all the way down my back.
I guess being almost two meters tall and having broad, sexy shoulders help.

All the time in highschool. It started out as a joke aong my friends, since out of the twelve of them, only one was a girl and as my interests went, I was pretty Tom boyish. Then the school introduced cheapy blazers as mandatory uniform which gave me square shoulders. The head teacher honestly thought I was a feminine looking Guy for 3 years. He even asked me, without a trace of irony, to try out for the school football/soccer team, "like the rest of the lads".

On the one hand, I do have a unisex name and my haircut was androgynous at best. On other, I'm pretty well endowed for a lady.

Bah.

Not in person because of my beard and all that but I do on the phone all the time because I'm just soft spoken and quiet. Although there was one instance of it happening in person because the guy didn't see me, he was looking down into his wallet when I walked in and didn't bother to look up. That got awkward fast.
