Yes, around the age of 18 and mostly by children that can only distinguish gender by hair length. Hell I've even had mistaken gender when shirtless once, that was nutty.

In high school, on Halloween, I came dressed up as a Heartless from Kingdom Hearts. My clothes were pretty baggy and my curves modest, so when I kissed my boyfriend at the time, someone made some sort of denigrating remark to us to the effect that we were homosexual males. D:

Nope, I've always had short hair and a masculine build. I can't think of a single situation where I've been legitimately mistaken for a female.

Considering that I play a 'male' character at work, the costume department should be proud that I look like one. The rest of my coworkers in my department feel the same. We often get mistaken as men, or (in some cases) get asked if we're male or female. It's kind of... awkward.

Once when I had quite long hair, by some random youths while walking down the street. They couldn't see my body as I was wearing trackies and a hoodie. It was only when they got closer and saw I had a goatee that they realised my true gender.

Yes. Once. Back then, I had long hair, a full grown (as in 2cm long) beard, was wearing heavy shoes and the person was in front of me. Still bothers me a bit...

It was drag thursday, and me having a feminine body... I was confusing the boys all day that day. I got a really good blonde wig, some extremely tight jeans that I had to sag, and a tight t-shirt with something whore-ish on the front... only until I actually spoke or took off the wig did anyone realize I wasn't a woman.
Haha What kind of school do you go to?

I really don't like the term "drag" for crossdressing because it sounds much like an insult if anything.

Anyways, yes I have been mistaken for the opposite gender. Usually it happens online. On DeviantART I will put a lot of emoticons in my posts and I also draw anime maids so I'm often mistaken for a girl there. It's really annoying to sort out that kind of thing with other people.

When I was at Anime Festival Wichita in this:

Out of the 7 people (the majority of which were girls) that took my picture, 2 of them actually mistook me for a girl.

Yep I had long hair throughout most of my teens. When I was about 14/15 I was delivering papers to houses and an old woma answered the door. She said "from the window I couldnt tell if you were a boy or a girl" slightly offended I laughed politley. Then came the kicker, "Well which are you then?" .....WHAAT??? Gobsmacked I uttered in confusion ....a boy...?". Then she closed the door. I was quited offended but I chalked it up to her being old and senile.

Yep, I was 13 at the time and in a hospital. (Oddly, I can't remember why.)

Granted, the hospital gown is unisex, but still my hair wasn't too long, and I was a 13 year old boy. I guess I must just have feminine features, perhaps that will be a benefit in life.

Back when I had shorter hair, people who saw me from behind would sometimes call me "sir". It was really annoying.

Apparently you don't have that wasted "OMG so much classwork!" look yet.

I was 10 and had quite long hair back then. Can't say I blame them.

I was slim, short and had my hair in a ponytail. I'm glad he didn't try to flirt with me.
