Poll: Have you ever bought a Game Boy/DS

A silver GameBoy Pocket that survived a car accident with me and wound up outside in the snow for 3 days. It still works to this day. Those things are tanks.

Yellow GameBoy Pocket I got when I temporarily lost the silver one. I have no idea what became of the yellow one, but I still own the silver one.

GameBoy Advance (clear purple) I sold to my brother, who promptly sold it and got a GameBoy Advance SP.

Cobalt Blue DS Lite, which is my favorite console right now.

Gameboy Advance SP. It was my first ever game system, and it introduced me to the wonders of Golden Sun, Fire Emblem, and Advance Wars, among other things.

I'm also pretty sure my parents never found out that I had it...and I had it for a good year.

I have had two GBAs but I was a stupid kid who had to take them to school. Teachers took them away and put them in a place where other students could easily steal them. I had learned my lesson but it cost me two sweet handhelds. I also had a DS (original version) that got stolen from my car along with my radio and the gatorades I had just bought from the store. I am curently thinking about buying about a DSi but with my track record I might as well just give them to thieves before I get too attached.

Yeah, I bought this Gameboy Pocket or whatever it was called (the slimmer version of the original Gameboy) in "transparent colour".

Later, I won a Gameboy Colour from a magazine puzzle. I used it quite a lot!
But I didn't buy any of the new ones, nope.

I had the Original Gameboy and Now have the original DS and the DS lite. (got the lite as a gift after my mother played brain age so much she had the screen scratched up so badly it barely registered when you were writing stuff)

Also, just to add to this, my GBA is my favourite game-playing system in the world. No, really. I've played more stuff on that, and put more gaming hours into that than any other console I've ever touched.

I'm not sure why, I think it must be the retro charm from when I first got my GBC.

I've bought several, some of which I still have: Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Micro, DS, DS Lite, DSi. Still have the Micro and one of my GBA's. Traded in the DS for the DS Lite then a few years later traded in the DS lite for the DSi. Gave two of my GBA's to my nephews (ages 4 and 6 at the time, its the perfect console for little kids) for their first personally owned game system a few years ago and they still play them. I really like Nintendo's portable systems. Each one keeps getting better.
