Poll: Have you ever built your own computer?

Made my first build about a month or two ago, I saved about 1k in doing so.
Really enjoyed it, and I'm proud that I've actually finished something I started for once.

I've built my own, and taken apart and put back together for maintenance at work. Oddly, sometimes I find that a system I thought had been fried worked when I put it back together, despite not doing anything to the components. Anyone else find that? I wouldn't think it would be loose connections, as the system in question worked fine for 3 years, and was never moved.
