Lets say your playing the Sims 3, Mass Effect, Skate, or anyhting that involves you creating a your character in a video game. You grow bored and create a character the opposite sex of you, then you feel a connection between you and him/her.
Sure, since I always make female characters to look Ideal to what I think a girl should look like, if you know, she were to have pointy ears, or weigh 80 pounds, or be able to throw a giant fireball at an ogre.
Sure. Generally if I'm creating a female character, I'm going to make her appear in a way that's attractive to me. I wouldn't call it a connection, per se, but you could sort of call it made to order.
I exclusively play female characters, and try to make them look as good as I can. That said, my Aion character stands out as being the hottest (though I no longer play that game), especially after I got to where I could remodel my equipment.
Here's a link, though the 3D model requires a Java plugin.

Actually putting some thought into this now, I feel like a huge dork. No wonder I can't get a girlfriend
No creepier than fapping to generic internet porn. Or any porn in fact. Unless you're in it, I suppose.
They're all just collections of pixels. Those porn 'actresses'? You'll likely never meet them, never sleep with them in any reality except the one inside your mind. Funny then how similar that is to video game characters.
Same thing goes for the actual actresses people find themselves falling over. Emma Watson? Scarlet Johannson? Angelina Jolie? Brad Pitt? Johnny Depp?
They're about as real as Yuna, Morrigan and Alyx Vance to most people.
Not to mention all the photoshop adjustments they make to models these days.
well if I make a female character I always give her massive tits and very little clothing, but if you're asking If I've ever made one for legitimate purposes and then grown attracted to her then no. In fact you could take "and then grown attracted to her" out of that and the answer would be the same.
