Yes, back in Morrowind I created a read headed dark elf. Her name was, "Eris Van Destra". No matter what, I always played as her, I always made that character. After I got Oblivion I couldn't come up with anything else, so I re-created her. No matter what though, she's always kind of been the character who guides me. I hate making other characters because they just don't seem right. Even further, Eris has become a regular character in my sketchbooks and has become friends with some of my characters. I could never get rid of her, she's sort of a staple of my mind.

Sure, since I always make female characters to look Ideal to what I think a girl should look like, if you know, she were to have pointy ears, or weigh 80 pounds, or be able to throw a giant fireball at an ogre.

Gah! The standards people make for us girls sometimes is truly truly truly outrageous....

She IS ugly!

I created a generic Blood Elf in WoW that was sexy, but what female characters aren't?

This thread makes me laugh a great deal.

I never have, but I do tend to make female characters, just because they can usually equip gender-specific stuff in RPGs (such as Ribbons in the Final Fantasies). ...Though, I have had several people tell me they were attracted to my female Blood Elf back when I played World of Warcraft. I found it... creepy.

I've felt connections to characters I've created, as I developed more of their backstory in my head (especially with my MMO characters, and especially City of Heroes/Villains). Probably natural, that.

Can't say it ever escalated to attraction, though. I typically create characters along lines that I would probably find attractive, but I can't think of any I could be described as attracted to. Partly because those characters are pretty much me. Partly because that just seems creepy; I'm no stranger to falling in love with fictional characters (<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.163769>I <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.128851>review <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.135672>eroge, for chrissakes), but there are plenty of lines I will not cross.

Well, I wouldn't say "attracted" in an "I have fantasies about you before I sleep" kinda way, but whether a guy or girl, I make my characters look good.

Unless I want to play as a real spanner (game world wise), then I giv'em all forms of wrong.

Definitely. I love my male Commander Shepard. He's hot, badass and can headshot a geth from 200 meters. You can't get any better than that.

Not particularly, the way I like my video game girls isn't quite so much how I like my real life girls. I actually know my ideal girl IRL, I just can't get her to like me back.
