A few, In primary school we had to line up to go into lunch and the caretaker would tick off our names on a list as we went in to the dining area. He gave all of us nicknames and since my name is Phillip he simply called me Pip.

One that stuck and eventually became my online alias for a lot of things is Flipip. Again it originates from primary school. In the lower years teachers would read us a story every now and then, and one that they read was called Beaver Towers. The main character, called Philip (with one L but meh...near enough the same thing), encounters a family of talking beavers, the youngest of which can't say his name properly and instead calls him Flipip. From then i was called Flip and Flipip. It kind of stuck.

I've been called "Stoney" since High School, despite the fact that I've never actually done any drugs and only been drunk like twice. Apparently I just look high as a kite.

I was called Kermit in college for a while, since I always used to wear a green hoody. Apart from that I'm mostly called Dan, but that probably doesn't really count as a nickname, since it's just short for Daniel.

There was also a couple that never really stuck, mostly on Skype with other Escapist members. Shirley and Dan No. 2 were brief nicknames I had on there.

I was called names a LOT in primary and secondary school (not many of which I can (thankfully) remember), does that count? I think the most imaginative (and (possibly) least hurtful) one was "Panda-Bot 3000", on account of my staying inside all the time, wearing nothing but black clothes, and the dull, monotonous droning that is my voice, and possibly my fascination (obsession) with robots/cyborgs/ridding myself of this squishy fleshy stuff I currently inhabit...

Oh, and "Army Spoon", given to/shouted at me by the anti-social little bastard of a brother of one of my most awesome (and only) IRL friends.

School was not fun...

My real name is Joseph so normally my nickname is shortened to Joey, though my PE teacher in primary school used to call me Joe Blow once upon a time
