It's better to try and come to terms with it or disengage, but sometimes it just won't quit.

Eh, very long and complicated story. To put it in a simple context: at the time I had no friends, close family, lover, or real goal to stave off the crippling depression I was suffering from. She took away the one thing left that I had to keep me going in life and I took it personally. I replaced what was stolen with hatred and kept going, taking small steps to make her life more miserable or humiliate her from the distance when I could.Smithburg said:So why do you hate her?lordmardok said:You're confusing hate with rage. Trust me on this one, real hate exceeds the bounds of simply killing someone so hard it's not even in the same state. I've hated one person in my life, just one, and never once did I imagine killing her, rather I wanted to destroy her, break her, then leave her alive to suffer with the knowledge of her complete failure as a person for as long as possible. When I heard she got cold feet for her marriage and ditched her fiancee of two and a half years I laughed because the idea of the misery she must be in, because she's not actually a bad person, made me genuinely pleased.Bamba said:Have you?
Personally, yes I have. I never really tried to kill the person though, but I just wished that the person would die in some way. I never attempt to do extreme things like this to be honest, as I would get in trouble for doing it, a trouble which isnt worth the death of the person in question, despite how much I might hate him/her.
That's hate. So as to your question, no, my hate has never been that weak before.

The beating is good. The suffering is better. Don't end it so quickly, yes?
That's what you're going to do? Beat them so badly their lower face turns into the shape of a comma? Ooo, that's brutal.canadamus_prime said:Precisely.Easton Dark said:Ah yes. That's me.canadamus_prime said:Kill? No. Beat to within an inch of their life? Yes.

I'm not usually a violent person, but there are some people, and one person in particular, that I'd like to show a whole new world of pain. >:,

I had the same reaction at first, but then I remembered that tons of nerds enjoy acting like they're above morality and like they aren't affected by anything. So then I felt better.6th And Silver said:Holy shit, are you fucking kidding me?
No. No, I have never wanted to FUCKING KILL someone.
Also, I think it's a little worrying that your "Strong No" option in the poll lists "I would get in trouble" as the reason for saying "no". Not, you know, because it's FUCKING WRONG.
I reiterate: HOLY. SHIT. The only thing more disturbing then the fact that this thread exists is the Escapist's total under-reaction to it.
