Poll: Have you ever judged somone based on their Avatar?

The only real thing we see here is a small grouping of pixels below our name. I know I've tried to make a judgment on someones character solely based on their avatar.

What about you guys?

If so, what do you think the person above you is like based on their avatar?

I was about to answer no but then I remembered so guy on here with an anti obama icon thing on here and I pretty much instantly judged him to be a prick and after reading some of his posts I was proven right

Yes, and its the ones that constantly flash between different scenes rapidly. They piss me off, and it makes me think the person possessing them has ADD.

On the other hand, people with normally animated avatars I tend to respect for some reason.

I guess, sometimes for fun I will try to guess the gender or age of a user although the name usually gives it away more.

Well, your avatar seems to be from the Road to El Dorado, with one of the characters in a funny pose, so I'm going to assume that you are a fairly happy and/or humorous fellow.

OT- it seems to work out fairly well for me. If I see a member with a Futurama-related avatar, odds are I'm going to identify with them in their posting.
