anyone whose avatar does not have a border is goddamn lazy and has absolutely no eye for design, and thus goes straight into my ignore list.

Depends. If someone has a Heavy Avatar I assume they play TF2 and enjoy playing Heavy.
Most Avatars say something about the poster....

One can assume that I enjoy World of Warcraft and is excited about Cataclysm.

I was about to answer no but then I remembered so guy on here with an anti obama icon thing on here and I pretty much instantly judged him to be a prick and after reading some of his posts I was proven right
why did you instantly think he was a prick?
well soon as I saw his av my first guess was that he was going to be some kinda right wing loony and after reading some of his posts I was proven right
that's a good point, however there could be other reasons to hate obama, some people think he's more of a celebrity than a president, guess it depends on what the picture says. oh well

Someone thought I was flaming them because I disagreed with them. And he said it like this "don't W+M1 my thread".

Yeah, I just saw some person with some anthropomorphic bear as their avatar, I'm honestly hoping that said person is not a furry.

Yes. If you see someone with a stereotypical black guy for an avatar, then either they are a stereotypical black guy, a racist, someone who loves a good laugh, or an 8 year old kid.

If it's something extremely fanboy-ish, then yes (Like Gordon Freeman killing Master Chief, for example) otherwise, no.

I guess if it's slightly fanboyish or has some kind of offence to a group of people then I kinda can judge them by their avatar.
Like someone with a swastika as a avatar, They're obviously a pr**k.....and maybe a nazi too but that's the same thing I guess.

I expect peoples' avatars to reflect something about them, and show what kind of person they are. They choose it, after all.
