I just like pretty girls, is all.
It's pretty non-complicated, for once.
Like the one you had before of that friend of yours? Or was that for a different reason?
I do remember talking about having a picture of a friend of mine as my avatar, but I don't remember actually following through on it.

But yes, that was probably the reason, if I did indeed do so.
You had it for a short while in June, after the Billie Joe Armstrong avatar and before the manga ones, if I'm right. Some blonde girl with a pale face and green eyes -- lot of green in that image. You also did mention it being a real life friend of yours.

Sorry for knowing all this about you, it's just that since you have become such a common name here it's a bit hard not to know anything about you. Doesn't help that I've been around about half a year now, just as you started to become a cyber celeb on the forums.

EDIT:

Gallows humor?
Dead-baby comedy?
Probably. I don't want to know about dead-baby humour...
Trust me, dead baby jokes are not for those easily offended.

I'm going to go ahead and rant about judgement in general.

Yes, I judge people, because I have eyeballs. If I see a certain avatar, I'm going to make an opinion based on that person. If I see someone in real life, I'm going to form an opinion based on how they're dressed. There is NOTHING wrong with this. What's wrong is when you make general actions based on your judgments, when those judgments haven't been supported by facts.

If I see a kid with "emo" hair, I might assume that he's a whiny ******. This assumption isn't wrong, I'm making rational connections based on what I have experienced in the past. If I act on this judgment (make fun of him, etc) that IS wrong.

So, to everyone saying "blahblah I don't judge" stfu and start using your brain.

This is the part of the post where I actually get on topic, but I've pretty much already stated that, yes, I make judgments based on avatars. So, I have nothing else to say.

It basically means jokes that are funny because they're horribly offensive, but not necessarily about infants that are no longer alive to drool all over everything.
Oh, in that case I love dead-baby humour!

Hmmm...
That might've been my friend Devon.
She dyes her hair all sorts of different colors, and she's rather adorable.
But she has blue eyes.

Then again, she does a lot of messing around with her pictures, so that might've been that.
She might have had blue eyes in the picture; it was a few months back so my memory of the avatar isn't as great as it was.

not really. I mostly identify people from their avatars. So I never really judge. But you know that you've been judged by me if you get this.....

There's one guy/gal on this website who has an anime avatar that shows a woman smushing her breasts into the face of someone under her. Can't quite tell if it's a guy or a girl though. It makes me think he or she<(shiver) is a bit of a perv.

I try not to judge people based solely on their avatars because I don't know their reasoning for choosing them, and I believe in openmindedness and acceptance.

Now I know that some of you are going to judge me harshley based on my avatar, so if you have a beef with me even though I've never met you, then go ahead, flame and/or troll me!

I definitely have, especially when it comes to anime or emo icons. I'm usually like, "bleh" but that's the extent of it!

For some reason, I tend to look upon users with Anime avatars less favourably. Personal discretion, I guess.
I'm the opposite, I view them more positively out of experience (and personal bias, I have an anime avatar myself). A good bit of them (Ravingpenguin and NeutralDrow, for two) just seem nicer and more fun in their posts.

People with anti-religious avatars most often get immediately judged negatively by me. But most of the time, no.

For better or worse, I usually do judge based of avatars. If it's something I recognize and like, it gives me the impression that there is common ground and a possibility of a new friend. If it's something I hate, I tend to steer a bit clear of them. If I don't recognize it at all, I either approach with some amount of caution or don't approach at all.

I judge people by their post count in comparison to their join date. If they have lots of posts in a short period of time they tend to irritate me.

Avatars though, now that I think about it are pretty accurate. TheNecroSwanson had the greatest avatars ever and was the best member of the Escapist community ever.
