Poll: Have you ever just stared at other peoples avatars on The Escapist?

Obviously animated ones are more eye-catching than static images, but I can't claim to have spent an extended amount of time staring at one (unless you count the initial "what the hell IS that?" period)

If it's below 50 frames, put it through GIFMake and set each frame's timer to 10. It's what I always do if a .gif isn't working as an avatar. They'll move after that.

Like mine for example.

OT: As a bunch of people have said, Onyx Oblivion's is just... yes Hypno Toad, I will do your bidding...

I do tend to look at some of the cool animated ones. I like making long animated AVs as it gives you something to look at.

Here are two of my more mesmerising ones:

If you have a slow connection you can barely tell its animated. Let me tell you editing it was a ***** as it took up so much RAM.

Have you made sure they're exactly 75x75 pixels? Otherwise they won't animate.

I love the Dr. Cox one that sassafras has. Also, there's one that shows an elephant jumping on a trampoline. I swear you cannot easily look away.

I sometimes have to squint to figure what i'm looking at, and if its sexy or not then scream for five hours because it was a dude...

kinda sucks to have to look at something for 5 mins to see if your going to be aroused or in need of eye broiling
