Yes. My PC. I call it Vera...
From this you can surmise two things. One, I was lying in a desperate bid to be comedic, and don't really name my PC. And two, I'm a certified Browncoat
But don't you have to name your PC if you want to put it on a network?
...mine's ZaphodBeeblebrox...
I've never had to do that before... I'm on the university network anyway (the joy of living in Halls) and piggyback on my parent's connection when I'm at home, so I don't need to give my computer any name. If I did I'd just call it Trivun's PC, nice and simple, as it were.
Yeah, I'm on a Uni network too; it was originally called "Luke", but apparently someone else on the network
also had that idea, so it kept coming up with error messages stating that that name was already on the network. I then changed it to ZaphodBeeblebrox. I suppose if you'd never named it, your computer's name on the network would just be a random string of letters and numbers that is unlikely to be shared by another computer on the network. Although I doubt there would be another computer named "Trivun's PC" on any network (at least in this country).
