I have never named a console or PC (unless 'You bastard' counts), but I do name my pen drives after zelda characters. Picked the habit up off a friend and ever since I have been unable to help myself.

My 360 has been nicknamed 'The computer' (for reasons I cannot even begin to imagine) while my friend and I refer to my PS2's lightgun as 'Sophia' (Laurence...it's my turn with Sophia!).

Since my laptop gives an option of naming it, I have called it Bob.

And my iPod's Jesus.

I called my Ipod 'If found, please call...' (then my phone no.)
So that if I lost it, Itd be returned. It didnt work.
