I think I lost my V card when I was sixteen. It wasn't really a magical experience, neither of us knew what the hell we were doing, and that was before I had an allergic reaction to the condom. I can look back and laugh now, mostly about the juxtaposition between how important I thought it was going to be, and what a ridiculous thing it ended up being.

It seems strange to me now that I was, much like you, really hoping to lose it. Like, I thought things would be different afterwards. But they weren't. You'll find that it's just one more activity that people can participate in, granted, it's an activity a lot of people put a lot of effort towards participating in, but it's not the earth shaking thing many virgins seem to think it is.

Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. It's one of those things that gets pressured on to you and when you finally do it, it can be, seriously underwhelming.

Wow congrats =) myself, i lost it a year or so ago when i was 16 with my then-girlfriend. It really helped create a strong bond between us (even though it didnt end up working out) also, it's very enjoyable in and of itself, sex that is.

It was all good, and none of us were drunk or drugged up so i guess it was a fairly good first go..
