I've never seen him in my dreams, although both the basic and other drawings are quite unnerving.

It's the collective unconscious at work, folks.

Wouldn't that actually be sweet if we could tap into something like that?

Edit: The only odd things I've ever seen in my dreams are: a shark with my fist in its gills, a bunch of Ewoks on fire, and Beelezebub, for some strange reason.

I am asking myself why he seems familiar.

I'm not even joking- I think I have seen that face somewhere before, but I cannot place it.
It looks familiar to me too, but I don't think I've ever seen him in a dream, or anywhere else for that matter, his face just rings a bell for some reason.

I've never seen him, but I've had dreams where really ugly people help me. I can't remember specific faces that well though. The only recurrent dream I've ever had that included a really ugly person involves me with my lips sown shut and an ugly person showing up and slicing open my mouth. Only difference is I'm pretty sure the ugly person was a girl, not a guy.

So yeah, no.

Edit: I was kind of expecting that meme about a tall monster dressed in a suit who sort of resembles a human but has overly long arms and legs.

If anyone can remember this creatures name it would be appreciated.

I'm terrified as shit of this dude, just like most people on this thread, but why? The entire point is that he comes into your dreams, is completely nice to you, and helps you in real life. Then why am I scared to turn around?

Hmmm, a lot of people seem to worry that they might see him now, and hope they don't, despite the fact that he's supposed to be helpful. I guess most people are very intimidated by his strange appearance.

For those that keep saying "people cannot be pulling this out of their ass" I have a bit of news for you. They can, and they are.

If you have a dream and you can actually tell me exactly what people in the dream looked like and what expressions they had on their face your lying or you mind filled in the blanks when you woke up. Memory for that matter is more scattered then most people imagine. I for one have a very early memory of the first house we lived in. I remember the house and all the details are correct (I have since seen pictures) except for one detail every time I picture the house in my mind from the outside it is brown. The pictures of the house are white, but other wise exactly how I remember.

The mind is much like that, I remembered the house but not the color, at some point my mind filled in the blank. Dreams are even worse because they are near total chaos. The mind has a lot to fill in as your start to remember the dream in the morning.

These people that see this face probably could not have really described the face except for some particular but somewhat vague feature like; ugly, or round face, or large head until they saw the picture. The picture fit close enough to vague mental description they had built up that the mind snapped it into the blank.

They probably will, and then some new mythos will build up and it will be that once you see his face then he appears to you. Only to go the way of Bloody Mary and the like. Getting so twisted nobody can remember the real roots of the urban legend.

Well, theres a reoccuring man in my dreams, It could be this guy... I can't tell because he always weas a hood over his face. He hasa deep voice, and the shade over his eyes glows a ligth blue. He usually warns me of the end of the world. Sometimes he says I can stop it, I usually chalk these dreams up as me being crazy.

is it me, or does that site seem like viral advertising?
Glad I am not the only one who had that thought... Oh well, if it is real, it is creepy. If it isn't, it is a dick move to promote a movie.

No, I have a reversal of this, I go to other people's dreams and help them out while I'm Dreaming or Daydreaming, The weird part is I actually look like that guy, NO fucking joke I'll prove it if necessary.

He looks a lot like a math teacher I had once who had an identical twin brother. I think I've solved the mystery!

Reminds me of Andre the Giant, but shrunken vertically.
At least that's who i think of right away.
