Not yet, nobody has offered me enough money. But I would sell out certain facets of my personal beliefs to support other facets. Which is where I think the above "sold out to big business to support self and family" comes in. But my morals are flexible enough to allow for adjustment given the right circumstances.
personal gain is my ideal, so selling out my ideals for personal gain is... sort of self-fulfilling
When I decide not to buy something it's usually because the product is rubbish - like MW2. It wasn't going to have dedicated servers, and I was one of the people who kicked up a fuss about that - mainly because I didn't see a point in buying MW2 if it didn't support dedicated servers.
So I didn't buy it.
If I feel strongly about something - there must be a reason. If I was simply jumping on the band wagon or lying, then I wouldn't actually feel strongly about it, and then would "sell-out" as you say.
The closest to "selling out" I guess is when I said I would never buy Starcraft 2 (based on my idea that it was nothing but a remake with nice graphics of the (in my opinion) poor starcraft 1) but then after it released I watched some youtube videos of pro matches and it's complexity won me over. I'm glad it did too - it turns my expectation of what sc2 was trying to be were different to what it actually was actually trying to achieve.

Not yet. I mean, I used to ***** and complain about the Xbox 360 being a stupid rushed out piece of shit that dies all the time, and I still bought one. But it was the games I bought it for, and my views never wavered on it. It was just a necessary evil (not that it's evil, but you get what I mean). And the RROD happening to every one of the twelve people I know AT LEAST once has proven me right anyway. And I bought a PS3 when the price dropped, just as planned. I imagine there's certain leeway for these sorts of things.

After years of feuding and swearing and begrudging, I watched a blu-ray movie on a PS3. I'm ashamed.
I don't think I have but I will probably have to soon. I own a 360 with 3 games. I have owned a 360 for 3 years. It is impossible to have a console and not sell out.
