Poll: Heaven or Hell: where are you going?

Well, imagining my perception of the universe has been completely wrong and God, heaven and hell actually do exist... it kinda depends on what you would need to be allowed in heaven. If being a nice person who has never commited a crime is enough to go there, I'm in. But if the whole not believing in the existence of heavens boss thing would be important I'd probably have to spent quite some time in burglatory.

It would actually be pretty well possible that if the afterlife would exist it would actually be a corrupt place where the rich buy their place in heaven and the poor, no matter how good they lived, would go to the overpopulated hell. Or South Park could have been right, meaning that only Mormons go to heaven (but hell's isn't actually such a bad place).

what about the beatitudes? the peace makers shall inherit the earth? god is all forgiving.is you kill a guy and are truly sorry (i mean truly sorry,because you cant fool god) you can go to heaven. if you're in a war,and getting shot at, it's not a sin to shoot back. hell,if manson was sorry, he may be in heaven! also, psychopaths are not responsible for killing. they can't control it. they're brains are to fucked up to help it. what i'm getting at is,anything,theft,murder,carjacking,saying gods name in vain,swearing,beating,EVERY FRICKING CRIME IN EXISTENCE is forgivable if you are truly sorry. i have spoken.

Hm, this made me thinking.
What about sociopaths?
Their brains are defective like other psychopaths', but since they have no sense of right and wrong, they can never truly be sorry for anything they did.
Would they go to hell because they aren't sorry?
Or would they go to heaven because it's not their fault they can't truly be sorry?
Don't want to force you into a corner, I just find this thought-experiment interesting.

IF heaven exist i know for damn sure im not going there xD i spent most of my life disproving god and destroying people's religious views for shits and giggles. but it doesn't matter if you go to heaven because if you go to christian heavan you will go to jewish hell, if you go to catholic heaven you'll go to muslim hell ect ect. So no matter which religoin you choose and follow all the way to their heaven your going to everyone else's hell

ummm isn't the fact that you asked a VERY christian question making it a religious topic? see Hell only exists in the christian religion, it was a tool invented in the middle ages in order to scare the masses back to the church, the whole fire and brimstone thing was an invention of the church in order to retain it's power and heavily borrows a lot of ideas from Hades

You could always throw yourself from a high cliff or building. Yes, suicide would get you in the gates as well, if you were too old and unfit to die in battle. But you are probably to cowardly to do this (which I fully understand), which means you will be take to Hel, where you will slave on the ship Nagelfar (Nailfather) for all time until Ragnarök.

I agree with your other points, but Hell did exist in other religions. It was not necessarily some place where everything burns, but it was generally where people were punished for whatever.

Well in Judaisim, there is no hell(not a one bad people go to, only a one where stan eats stale chips with Beni Goren(inside israeli joke)), but only jews and good people go to heaven, untill god will bring all the dead back to life and we will all eat kosher pie!
