No words needed. Watch these:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-V4KEnbYo0 ("Jokahontas")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XaPGBTiFvY ("The Great Wakkorotti")
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TILSsO8QiTY&feature=related ("Acquaintances")

And that's why "Animaniacs" was awesome.
What were your favorite moments/characters/gags from this show and why did you love it so much?

My favorite part of the show was Wheel of Morality
Also they had some good songs
The show was great because it had great jokes and now that I'm older I can enjoy some of the jokes that pretty much went over my head.

Animaniacs, FUCK YES!!!!

It had an awesome theme song. It almost beats Pinky and Brain's :p

They also did the Nations of the World song. I still don't see how they pulled this off:

I love cartoons in all shapes and sizes, but I hated The Animaniacs. Probably because it tried to take the Looney Toons humor into the 90's, and it just didn't work. Not for me, anyway.

Pinky and the Brain was pretty good, but everything else was just plain stupid.

The friends episode took the cake for me never saw that one.
I like them well enough but you gotta love the other segments of the show not just the warner brothers

I'll say. I appreciated the Wheel of Morality when I was younger because I knew it was supposed to be silly...but now, I just spent twenty seconds laughing over

"If you can't say something nice, you're probably at the Ice Capades" and
"You can teach an old dog new tricks, but you can't teach Madonna how to act."

It's a little like Calvin and Hobbes, in that way.

I love Wakko and his dead on Ringo Starr voice. Wheel of Morality is my favorite bit from the show. I was also big on Freakazoid in those days, too.

EDIT: Freakazoid vid!

Shame they didn't release season 4 since most of the shows was them making fun of WB and their failure Hysteria.

As you can tell by my user namer I am completely indifferent to it.
(sarcasm)

But I do own all three DVD sets, and it pretty much defined my childhood.
Also When I was in the hospital recently I harassed the shit out of a Nurse by saying HEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLO Nurse every time she entered

I FUCKING LOVE ANIMANIACS

Actually, Wakko's voice is more like John Lennon.

You know the reason I'm spreading the Warners' word around is basically a way to deal with the utter frustration I'm feeling due to the sheer impossibility for me to actually OWN any of the DVDs... they were never released in the PAL regions. At least I've got the entire collection of "Count Duckula."

Well... the Nations were difficult... but how about this one?

I'm SO glad to know there are still people out there that remember and love those shows! They had that rare quality of being genuinely funny, witty, and informative (who says you can't learn anything from watching cartoons). Seeing how the current cartoon business is dive-bombing straight to hell, I say we petition Steven Spielberg to get his old team back together and recreate shows of this caliber.

And thats my contribution. I really love this show, its amazing. I remember during Christmas, Cartoon Network aired the Animaniacs Christmas movie. I can't remember when I enjoyed a movie as much as that one.

"I don't get vertigo."
"I know, I've seen that movie three times and still don't get it!"

As well as the US states/capitols and US presidents.

This show got me through Social Studies(History) and Geography.

I fucking loved Animaniacs, its been a while so I don't really remember any jokes from it but it always made me want to live in a water tower. I once almost injured myself trying to climb to the top of one so I could live in it.
