I started gaming on the PS1.

So I'm almost glad to be given enough reasons to finally come home.

I've already discussed this with my 360 gaming buddies over the past few weeks, and of the twenty-two of us nineteen are moving over to the PS4.

I hope for Microsoft's sake my group of friends isn't indicative of the entire 360 player-base.

I dont get all the fanboys, just take what console offers the best for you and go with it, I went from PS1 for Xbox, then 360 and now probably PS4. The original Xbox ended up being like how the PS3 performed this generation, more powerfull then the competition but also somewhat lacking in the games in comparision, PS3 as been doing better now near the end of its generation and for the ones that had in the start they were somewhat interesting. And thank god the PS4 will include a headset right out of the box, the amount of people that dont even take into consideration the use of a headset in a game is huge when none of them as ever experienced it.

I found the complete opposite. I found Micrsoft's conference was just game after game after game, mostly never heard of before which is great. Sony talked about the system, showed us games that they showed us in February and then showed us about 3 new ones. Which console is aimed for games now? Dammit, I think I may have to stop being a Sony fanboy after this.

Where is the Have a PC might pick up a PS4 at some point option? Thats the one I would pick. I have a PC and most of my gaming for the next year or 2 will be on that but if I have the money and a few games are out for it I would like to et one. Maybe.

The Xbone can just fuck right off.

Have a PC, sticking with PC. Wish I had the cash to splash like some who are willing and able to pre-order (but perhaps not necessarily buy?) both at launch.. I mean wow - think of the bitching upgrades I could do to my PC with that!

OP - your OP is awesome.

Picking the final, possibly broken poll option, because I'm an anarchist and fuck those police people.

In any case, Microsoft have treated the core gaming audience with tepid indifference at best over the past few weeks. It's nice to see the Escapist, nothing if not a core gaming audience hivemind, lock onto something other than EA for a while. That was getting a teeny bit stale.

Oh Escapist community, you beautiful, vicious, temperamental beast. Never change.

Honestly, this is pretty much me.

Also your post was funner then half the crap at the Micros**t presentation. The other crap was too boring for me to remember.

Titanfall does look good, but remember that it's on PC too.

Actually, I'm looking forward to PS4. If it allows PS3 games (Need to look it up to confirm, if yes then I'm going over for sure), then I'll be allowed to play Heavy Rain, catch up on Ratchet and Clank/Sly Cooper, be ready for Jak and Daxter's inevitable return, Infamous, AND I'll be finally allowed to start popping mods onto my 360 once I defect.

So yeah, VIVE LA PS4!
