I went full tilt into chemistry, and never really bothered much with math. I had calc in highschool, at a private institution, but cared mostly about getting past it and into more chemistry. In college, I took the absolute bare minimum math requirements to graduate with a BS in chem. My jr year, they tripled the math requirement, but I was grandfathered through.
Its a disadvantage as my interests are ranging towards the solid state physics of self-assembling mesocrystalline materials, but I'm picking things up adequately. I learned all the calc I needed by frantically trying to figure out what the hell quantum mechanics was on about.
None of the options really apply to me.
