This is for my own curiosity and as well as others who may want to know, but is the wait giving you more hope to say it will be perfection or Blizz is just to focused of cata and other projects to make a realizes date.

So is this going to be a duke nukem, in other word just without as many fans now lol.

I think the game will be downright amazing, but I think it would have been even if they released it at a remotely reasonable speed, no game takes this fucking long to make, and blizzard arent making virtual masterpieces. its taking this long because they just dont want to finish it right now.

Good Developer + Time = Good Game. I don't think waiting will do anything but make it better.
Seriously, if you think the best gratification is that which occurs quickly, I kinda feel sorry for your girlfriend.

Nothing is perfection, I'm just going to play the game and if I had fun... its worth it, plain and simple.

And not trying to be nit-picky or anything and I'm going to assume English isn't your first language but the OP didn't make much sense.

Not completely understanding your post, but I don't think Cataclysm's development is distracting Blizzard from DIII; they're pretty much completely different divisions from what I've heard. My concern is that they might be taking too much influence from WoW, in the wrong way.

I'm still looking forward to it, with my faith being reinstated as of Blizzcon, but I'm still a little sceptical, DII being one of my all-time favourite games and all.

Wheres the option for "It will likely be very good"

Perfect or not is far too polarizing. But when it comes to massive development time I prefer game to be thought out and well developed over farted out expansion packs painted as full price sequels every year sold entirely on hype and pre-order.

We can't say at this point, so far Blizzard hasn't disappointed me, but the last Blizzard game I bought was Diablo 2. I'm looking forward to it as I loved Diablo and Diablo 2, but without actually playing it I can't say. They seem to be pretty occupied with World of Warcraft, but they have multiple studios to work on it, and stacks of millions of dollars to play with.

And really, "Blizz is just to focused of cata and other projects to make a realizes date."? That sets off quite a few sensors in my brain due to grammatical errors, and the auto spell checker sets off a few red lines itself.

That's Diablo. They will do it the same way they did to Starcraft: Use the same basic game, give it a graphic upgrade and glue on good looking extra bits with replay value. Then they will spend some money ond cinematics and voice actors and it will be good.

Blizzard has routine in this, it should almost be impossible to cock it up.

Edit: Also "Blizzard" doesn't consists of some guy hanging around in an office, rolling a dice every morning to see what project they will be working on. They have fixed teams for that, they don't take people from diablo to do cata and vice versa.

That would be like suggesting someone who designs engines for general motors gets to fill in for someone who designes the look of the cars. Two seperate areas.

I see no reason to doubt Blizz at this point. SC2 has shown that they are still able to make good games and not just WoW expansions, all the info released about D3 has so far been promising and they have an overall good track record.

bash.org once said "the chursh spends millions of dollars a year in abstinance campaigns, when all they need is 15$ a month for each world of warcraft subscription." and i know some WoW nerds litterally so hooked, they perfer WoW over sex -_- yes, 1 of them is still a virgin because of that, and he's 25.

I don't think it will (or could) be 'perfection'
but I fully believe that it will be a great game.

I can assure you that there is one fan that I know, who is not losing faith (he played ever since the first one). It's not me and I'm not too bother with the game to be honest however I got a mate who is craving for that game and keep bragging me to upgrade my pc to play the game with him. He always get excited when I send him new info on the game (despite being a fan, he is lousy keep up to date with it).

No matter how long they make me wait for Diablo III, I'm not going to expect perfection from them. But hey, I'm hopeful that it will at least be 'pretty good' which is a different kind of hope to the 'maybe it will actually come into existence sometime' hope I get whenever I think about ep 3. Also, I don't really understand the opening post, but oh well.

I ain't all that excited, honestly. Blizzard's direction with Diablo, as with the Warcraft universe, with them focusing more on multiplayer and less on singleplayer means I probably won't be enjoying it as much. I'll wait until D3 comes out, see what it looks like, then decide. As it is now, D2 fulfills my needs in the hack'n'slash genre perfectly. If not that, then Torchlight.

If it doesnt have naked demon succubi, lots of gore and mangled bodies as well as a gothic type setting like the first. It can suck my flaccid genitals.

Blizzard can take its time as far as I'm concerned. I might not be able to afford a good enough PC to run Diablo 3 for a while yet. And yes, it will be amazingly good. I trust the developer and the Diablo formula.

Scratch that part about having a decent enough PC. My half-decent Mac might be able to run it, since apparently the system requirements should be quite low and that it should also be Mac-compatible. HURRY UP, BLIZZARD! DO IT NAO!
