Gryffindor, they seem to be kicking the most backsides. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are mostly there to round out the numbers. And Slytherin is filled to the brim with pretentious A$$%oles

Hufflepuff, I think.

Might actually be Slytherin to be honest. I've got the cold sarcasm. I don't like decadent snobbery though so that's a Deal Breaker....

Every stupid quiz I take tells me slytherin, so I guess it's slytherin. I always thought of myself as more of a Ravenclaw, since I love to learn and I get destructive when I'm not learning something new or developing skill, or maybe hufflepuff, since I tend toward incredibly empathetic. But nope. So, snakes for me!

I went through a big phase before the last HP movie where I took every personality test I could find to figure this out. Mainly because every single one said the same thing over and over. Every result: Slytherin. I kind of like that and the truth is, you probably would too if you were being honest.

EDIT: The number of Ravenclaws is socially intriguing. THIS ISN'T EVERYBODY BUT IT HAS TO BE A FEW. You want to be with the good guys, but you don't want the responsibility of the good guys who actually have to do things. Kind of perfect for a nerd who thinks they're so clever but probably waste there time being passive instead of active.

I'd like to say I'd be a Hermione Granger type brain box who would be in Ravenclaw, or a Harry Potter type ground stander who would be in Griffyndor, but no, I'd probably a boring, normal Hufflepuff. Woo-bloody-hoo.

I'm 30% Ravenclaw and 70% Hufflepuff. I get told I'm fair, kind and generous, good at creative writing and would probably risk my life to save someone if the odds of success were over, say 40%.

Hufflepuff since I have more kindness. I lack the traits to be put into the other houses (courage, smartness and cunning).
Pretty much this. I can be brave, I can be smart, I can be manipulative, but I'm way too nice to have any of those be an overriding factor.

Shame, the rest of the houses are bitchin'.

Either Slytherin or Ravenclaw. I don't really seem myself fitting into Hufflepuff or Gryfindor, plus they seem like a bunch of goody-two-shoes. I'd probably be more likely to get into Ravenclaw, but Slytherin is always a possibility.

The shitty American one where all the European wizards make fun of me because the one I go to is only a few decades old instead of centuries old. But at least my defense of the dark arts teacher is a real Haitian Voodoo priest.
There's a Haitian priest teaching at the American school? Fuck Hogwarts, I'm staying State-side.

Seriously, as an American nerd reading Harry Potter I thought surely there must be American Wizard schools. And then logically going from there, you can imagine that there would be course work in Voodoo and Native American Shamans.

I've thought about it. I wouldn't fit in Hufflepuff, I'm not smart enough to be in Ravenclaw.

"Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, leadership, resourcefulness, and most of all, pure wizard blood."

I'm not cunning or ambitious, but I'm quite resourceful and am a competent leader. However, I wouldn't be able to stand any of the others in my House.

Most of what Gryffindor values are traits I have, and most personality quizzes I've taken placed me in it, so I'll go with Gryffindor.

Though, since I'm American I don't think I qualify.

Definatley Slytherin I try my hardest to use other people for my own gains and lets face it I trick people into doing what I want them to do.

Was anyone else hoping for a mysterious letter when they turned 11? Obviously at almost 20 years old I'm not so naive, and at 11 I knew it wasn't going to happen but I was still dreaming about it. Even though I'm American, I was thinking that maybe there's some magical underwater train or something. And yes, this was from the books. I don't believe the movies had come out yet when I turned 11 in 2002, but my imagination was definitely from the books.
I'm still waiting for my damn letter. 18 IS NOT TOO LATE HEADMASTER, TAKE NOTE. ;_;

Just took an online sorting hat quiz and it gave me Ravenclaw. It was close to being a tie with Hufflepuff.

Here's the link for the quiz.

http://www.thealmightyguru.com/Reviews/HarryPotter/Docs/Quiz-House.html
Gryffindor - 11
Hufflepuff - 11
Ravenclaw - 11
Slytherin - 11

Well that helps... Although I do think I would be Ravenclaw... Maybe Gryffindor...
