Poll: honest opinion on portal2

just finished the single player. i wish my friend would hurry up and get the game so i can try co-op. possible goty in my finshed sp opinion. we'll just have to see how batman and skyrim do, but that's a whole other topic.

I'm near the end (the part where he kills you) and although I found some of the puzzles REALLY difficult (it's probably just me because so far everyone's complaining about how easy and short the game was) the game was ridiculously funny and fun.

How can you have an opinion on something you haven't played?

I found that the gameplay was kind of lacking in the middle, but the beggining and end were good so I'll probably just remember that.

I have to admit I didn't get the "Wow, that was a terrific game" feeling I got when I completed the first Portal for the first time.

It was still a good game though.

I just got to Chapter 3 (only just got it today) and so far it's very good. There are games I prefer but this is certainly my favourite puzzle game.

Edit - just to point out I wasn't fond of Valve because of their Microsoft fanboy attitude towards the PS3 back in the Orange Box days, I'm more than happy to accept a free copy of Portal 2 for pc as an apology and I have to admit they did a good job developing for it.

Brilliant. It's the best game I've played in a long while.

I felt that a bit too. Don't get me wrong I loved Cave's commentary and just exploring the derelict regions of the facility in general, but I spent a good deal of time down there wondering where I was supposed to be going.

Still I love the game.

really? i thought the ending levels were a bit rushed in comparison to the middle, but that's just me.

I think it's amazing, i'm playing it a bit too much though; it won't last me very long at this rate.

I got a bit bogged down in the middle, the environment just made it difficult for me to see where i was meant to be placing portals. But everything else has been incredible.

It is exceptional.

One of the best games I have ever played.

The group saying its the worst thing ever is mostly comprised of trolls spouting complete and utter shit (console port and 4 hours long? Yeah, OK then).

Still playing, as I'm absolutely savouring every second of it's witty, dark, subtle humour,beautiful gameplay and even loved the "duller" middle section. absolutely brilliant.

I know this sounds silly and possibly bribed to say- but this is honestly the best I've ever played through.
