I need my glasses for far seeing but I always wear my glasses because they make me look older and I don't like straining my eyes look at things far off without my glasses.

Excellent eyesight. Although I am colorblind. Where's the option for that, huh? HUH?

I stand for the ACBP. Advancement of ColorBlind People. Also, we have an awesome logo. We think it's red.
I laughed at this.

My eyes are as probably close as they can get to perfection.

Best comparison I can think to give is that I can read size 16 font at a distance of about 5 meters.

Also I can conciously control the focus of my lenses, for what thats worth.

Less than a year ago my eyesight was quite poor. I had a correction of -6.75 in one eye and -6.25 in the other. If something was further than a foot or so from my face (this is not an exaggeration) I probably couldn't see it. Apparently feeling guilty that they were unable to help pay for my college education, my parents and grandparents pitched in and ponied up the cash to get laser surgery and today I have 20/15 vision.

I need my glasses to see things clearly from about 6 inches away from my face....everything is blury but i can still make out shapes and colours easily. I just miss the details.

One of the happiest moments of...you get the idea....was when i tried contacts and i literally screamed "Holy crap I have peripheral vision!!!!"

Twas a great day...
When I finally received glasses, the first thing I noticed was that trees actually had texture. It was like I had been living in a low-res video game without even realizing it.
I had a similar experience when I first received glasses. Since I had never worn them before I didn't know that I was missing out on details others could see.

I used to think I had 20/20 vision. Then my mom took me to an optometrist. Heh heh heh.

I'm glad, I've always wanted an excuse to wear glasses...so sexy.

Now if only I could find those fuckers.

I've got something like 6/5 vision. So at six metres its as if I'm standing five metres away from the Snellen chart. That's good.

I have 'perfect' vision but my eyes are very keen on unfocusing for a few moments every now and then.

My left eye is shithouse. It basically relies on my right eye, which makes my right eye work harder than it needs to, thus degrading my right eye. Yay for blindness!

Right now, +2.0 in both eyes.

In about ten years, I will be completely blind, glasses or no.

I'm near-sighted in the fact that I can't make out fine details from a distance as everything is kind of blurry. Up close I'm fine, I don't really have any problem (probably all that miniture work I did 5 inches from my face). So I only wear my glasses when I'm driving, am in class, watching TV/movie, or need to see stuff clearly at a distance. So most of the time I don't wear them.

I need to wear glasses all the time, not that I mind, since I'm used to it, but I can see alright with them off. Things that are more than two metres away start to look blurry, but at least I don't have that thing where stuff starts looking bigger than it really is.

My left eye is better than perfect while my right eye is legally blind. I would wear a monocle if it was more socially acceptable

Right eye needs +7.25 and left eye needs +5.25 if I remember correctly. Quite a pain and the glasses weren't cheap.

I believe my eyesight is 20/450 or 20/400... in that range anyway.
Course I'm only 15 and my mom had 20/600 vision when she got them fixed so I'm preparing for the worst.
